The Psalmist David makes this statement in his 150th Psalm.
- Psa 150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
- Psa 150:2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
- Psa 150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
- Psa 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
- Psa 150:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
- Psa 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
The summation of all that precedes the 6th verse specifically facilitates the MO of the 6th verse. The ministry of music at NLA is the accompaniment of the living breathing “things” praises. The NLA Music Ministry is a ministry of praise facilitation. The presence of music in our church services is for the express purpose of giving the living a platform to praise the Giver of Life. It is a stage upon which the created (us) may show the audience of heaven the praises of the power, the compassion, and the grace of the Creator; to declare His deeds among the people. |
